Your Challenge
- Thoroughly understand DSP trading desks' campaign strategies, goals, and operational needs, along with the agency relationships they manage on behalf of their clients.
- Clearly articulate our platform's value proposition, emphasizing how we can help trading desks optimize performance and achieve superior outcomes for their campaigns through professionally delivered live and virtual presentations.
- Build and cultivate strong relationships at multiple levels within DSP trading desks and the associated agency teams, adopting a consultative selling approach with prompt, personalized engagement and follow-ups.
- Identify campaign opportunities and collaborate with trading desks to secure participation in programmatic buys that align with client needs and our platform’s strengths.
- Develop tailored, innovative solutions for trading desks and account managers, leveraging our platform's unique capabilities to ensure solutions are both impactful and deliverable.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and an up-to-date sales pipeline, ensuring CRM hygiene to reflect all ongoing and potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with Ad Operations and Account Management to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment on success metrics defined by trading desks and their clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in working with trading desks and propose scalable, automated solutions to enhance efficiency and satisfaction.
- Focus on retention by optimizing campaign performance and outcomes, continuously evaluating and improving our impact on trading desk-managed campaigns.
- Share insights on trading desk trends, campaign performance, and success stories to support cross-functional teams and refine our strategy.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Proven Sales Leadership: Strong experience in onboarding new DSP partners and leading a team to meet sales quotas.
- Team Management: Ability to manage and mentor a team of DSP Account Directors to drive performance and achieve goals.
- Sales Strategy Development: Expertise in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth through DSP relationships.
- Effective Relationship Building: Skill in building and maintaining strong, consultative relationships with DSP decision-makers.
- Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Ability to maintain accurate forecasting and manage a well-organized sales pipeline.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Experience working closely with Account Management and Solutions Engineering to ensure successful integrations.
- Results-oriented: Self-motivated, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
