Job Description
We’re looking for an Account Director to lead our team in Canada and help shape the future of contextual advertising as we continue to expand globally.

Our technology provides superior brand safety, human-like content understanding, and advanced cookieless targeting, making ads more engaging and respectful. Founded by two ex-Googlers in 2014, we’ve grown to over 700 Seedtaggers across 17 countries, raising €250M to revolutionise digital advertising.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Thoroughly understand your client’s business objectives and what they’re inherently looking to fix, accomplish, or avoid.

  • Clearly articulate Seedtag’s value proposition through professionally delivered live and virtual presentations.

  • Build and cultivate strong relationships at multiple levels with brands and agencies through consultative selling with prompt and personalized follow-up.

  • Seek our RFPs and RFIs for Seedtag to respond with business plans, media proposals and commercial opportunities that drive value for customers and revenue for the company.

  • Build and package innovative custom solutions that align well with the company’s core strengths and are deliverable.

  • Be accountable with accurate forecasting and a clean, up-to-date pipeline. CRM hygiene is a must.

  • Liaison with Ad Operations and Account Management to ensure they clearly understand what success looks like for the client.

  • Prioritize account retention by constantly looking to improve our work for the client with an eye on optimizing to outcomes.

  • Support cross-functional teams with customer insights, trends and case-studies of success.


YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE 
  • 5+ years of experience in digital ad sales with a track record in both programmatic and/or managed service-type deals.

  • You are located in the Montreal area and are an expert on that territory with an established network of decision-makers across an agency's planning and programmatic teams and direct clients.

  • Experience in breaking new business and growing existing accounts.

  • Love the fundamentals of sales, measuring what works, and being in front of clients.

  • You have an eagerness to work in a startup team environment and partner well across departments for collaboration.

  • You are an educator and business consultant – connecting with clients to educate and maximise their potential.

  • Stellar presenter and comfortable with executive-level interaction.
